Companies participating provide an opportunity for those wishing to sell direct, to get good consumer exposure and promote their product locally and get instant feedback from the public regarding their opinions and likes / dislikes.
For other companies it can be an excellent opportunity to launch a new product or raise local awareness of a brand.  Areas which were represented the last two year's ranged from confectionary, baking, jams, chutneys and preserves, butchers, pies, pasties, sauces and tapenades, Irish cheeses, farmhouse fudge, eggs, honey, free range and local pork products to name just a few.

The best of the west brown bread baking competition is a great opportunity for the silent home bakers to show off their talent and claim a prize.  Our special guest chef Jonathan Keane from the Lodge at Ashford Castle. Entries will be taken on the day, and should not arrive later than 1pm on the day.  There will be two sections in the competition.

Section 1.

We will have a prize in each section!
